The Solution is: Words that come before "pudding"

Today's Pinpoint looked harmless at first. Just a few everyday foods. And yet… I still managed to overthink it. The first clue was Bread. That immediately sent me in three directions: Baked goods Staple foods Maybe some kind of word pairing But with only one clue, "baked goods" felt safe enough. Bread is classic bakery territory. I submitted Baked goods. Now bread + rice together screamed staple foods. Basic carbs. Daily essentials. Global diet stuff. It felt logical. Clean. Sensible. So I guessed Staple foods. Okay. So not baking. Not nutrition categories. Interesting. Now the list was: Bread, Rice, Chocolate. This is where my brain tried to get clever. I noticed something kind of neat: White bread / whole wheat bread White rice / brown rice White chocolate / dark chocolate There was a pattern of light vs. dark varieties. That felt smart. Maybe too smart. I guessed Foods that come in white and dark varieties. At this point I was officially suspicious of myself. Whenever I build a "creative" theory in Pinpoint, it usually collapses. Then the fourth clue dropped: Plum pudding. Christmas pudding. Bread pudding. Rice pudding. Chocolate pudding. I literally paused and said, "Ohhh." Everything snapped into place at once. The previous clues weren't about food categories at all. They were all words that commonly go before the same word. I quickly submitted Pudding. The last clue sealed it: "The proof is in the pudding." Perfect confirmation. Clean, elegant, classic Pinpoint. Words that come before "pudding"
