And that was the aha moment.

The ancient Egyptians are widely credited with developing a 365-day solar calendar. And once that clicked, the earlier clues rearranged themselves instantly:

Once the category was clear, these were unmistakable. Papyrus as an early writing material. Hieroglyphs as a writing system. Both are tightly associated with Ancient Egypt, so by then there was zero suspense left.

What I liked about this puzzle is how sneaky it was. It started with objects that felt weirdly modern, then quietly pulled the whole thing backward through time.
